Round 1 Written Test
It was an easy test with 3 sections:
You must solve the book quantitative aptitude by R.S.Aggrawal and go through questions on indiabix.com. For Logical and Verbal Reasoning also book by R.S.Aggrawal is recommendable.Try to make yourself thorough in all the chapters.
Round 3 Technical Interview
I entered the classroom(TS7 it was) with high heart beats. I greeted the interviewer and then he asked me to sit and tell him about myself. I suggest give the genuine answer. Then he asked about one of my projects(mentioned in CV)and I explained it in detail. Then he asked me about bubble sort and insertion sort and which one is better? He then went on to ask me the difference between CDMA and GSM. He then also asked me difference between microcontroller and microprocessor.Luckily I was able to answer these.He then asked me the difference between synchronous and asynchronous counters which I was not able to answer. Still luckily,I got through.
Thoroughly study data structures(even if u r in ECE branch) and do all types of sorting(probably more than you have done in 2nd sem :P), their complexities and codes. Do the subject telecommunication properly,the OSI model,TCP,UDP,etc properly.In mobile com,study about CDMA,GSM,GPRS properly. Also do digital electronics,flip flops and counters and all. And yes do learn to write simple programs in C and JAVA(if mentioned in CV).Basics about these languages. Moreover try to touch the basics of each of your courses before the interview.
Round 4 HR Interview
It was a very short interview which lasted for about 2 minutes. I entered the room and greeted the interviewer. He asked me my name and whether I had my food or not(I said yes). He then told me to tell me about yourself. Then he asked me about my strengths. He just asked whether it will be ok if I am posted anywhere in South India and will work or not. I said I will be fine and he asked me to sign on a paper agreeing that I am willing to work at any location.
Be confident and keep smiling and give genuine answers. Keep your mood calm and happy though you may be tired of that hectic day. Very very negligible students get rejected in this round.
General Tips Start your preparation in time. Keep practicing aptitude,English regularly. Try to do good projects in your minor,major which can really help you a lot in the long run.
